St James Presbyterian Church

An amazing group of quilters. Some made their first quilt just for Anchor Hope!

A group of at least 24 quilters from St James Presbyterian Church created 90 beautiful quilts for Anchor Hope. Some of the quilters made their very first quilt just for this project. We are so thankful for the tremendous amount of time that was spent working together in this mission to support children coming into foster care and the young adults that Anchor Hope will be supporting in our New Horizons program.

Several board members came out to witness the “blessing of the quilts”.

Mildred Powell is a member at St James Presbyterian Church and Secretary of the Board for Anchor Hope. Her love of children and her desire to help those in need has led her to bringing the mission of Anchor Hope to her church family. We are so thankful for her dedication to the children we help at Anchor Hope and her love of God. Mildred is an inspiration to us, and we are blessed to have her on our team!

Absolutely beautiful work!
